How To Apply

Financial problems can strike any of us, at any time, usually when we least expect them, and mostly through no fault of our own. Whether due to age, sickness, injury, business failure or even, pandemics & war - life can damage our finances!

The National Benevolent Society of Watch and Clock Makers offers financial help to those who work or have worked in any branch of the watch and clock trade, in any part of the United Kingdom.

Surviving partners of anyone who worked in the trade can also apply for financial assistance, but often lose contact with the trade, so if you know of anyone whose deceased partner was in the trade, who now needs help, please put them in contact with us.

The Society may offer short-term assistance or ongoing help, depending on the needs of the individual.

All information given is held in strict confidence and the Administrator is always happy to assist with any queries. Once an application is approved, beneficiaries usually receive payments on a quarterly basis. Our charitable payments do not affect any entitlement to state benefits.
